In this position, you will be responsible to direct and coordinate office services and/or administrative services and related activities for an office with approximately 175 employees. You will be responsible for coordinating, directing and supervising the office support staff in the day-to-day operations in this location. Qualified candidates will possess the following:
5+ years office management experience or relevant experience
Previous experience in a professional services environment a plus
3+ years supervisor, leadership or management experience
Ability to recruit, train, lead, mentor and provide guidance and feedback to team members in areas such as performance, review of client deliverables, complex issues
Previous management of facilities a plus
Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office 2013 products
Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
Spelling, grammar, sentence structure and punctuation
Ability to proofread for accuracy and finalize documents professionally
Strong attention to detail
Effective organization and time management skills

Manages and provides leadership to the office services support personnel for the office.
Support staff includes 5 direct reports and 2-3 seasonal/temps during busy times of the year.
Conducts reviews and analysis to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Recruits and trains new team members.
Communicates performance expectations, performance feedback, recognition and coaching, supporting staff with their development and goals and helping to assess overall performance.
Implements employee counseling reports and/or discipline including termination when needed.
Monitors staff workloads to ensure adequate coverage and provides backup coverage as needed.
Assists staff with the following client deliverables, but not limited to: providing advanced support, project coordination, filing, faxing, binding, preparing and distributing documents and photocopying.
Position reports directly to the location Office Managing Partner and is a part of the local and regional leadership team.
Helps drive culture initiatives.
Maintains confidentiality at all levels.
Supports and manages office equipment and supply needs (telephone/voicemail, audio visual, kitchen and office supplies, etc.).
Assists IT personnel with resolution of location IT issues/matters.
Some travel may be required for annual department meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
