The Project/Practice Coordinator is accountable to executive sponsors for the coordination and management of on-going practice, project and administrative duties, which may have many related projects managed within. The incumbent will apply broad, advanced project management principles and concepts to large projects, and contribute to innovation of new concepts and ideas, and continuous process improvement. Program duties may not always fall within a defined subproject. The individual must be able to identify activities as either in or out of scope as they relate to the program objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple initiatives, projects and stakeholder relationships to assure business needs are met, projects are delivered on time, and potential projects are managed
  • Assist executives with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, booking travel, expense reports, and meeting agendas
  • Assist with leadership meeting preparations such as creating presentations, research, to-dos, and follow up
  • Define and manage business case, program and project scope, goals, budget, schedule, resources, and deliverables that support business goals, and take appropriate steps to ensure project objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage program and project timelines, risks and issues. Recognize and determine the appropriate corrective action to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope
  • Identify and execute appropriate communication methods to meet stakeholder and senior leadership needs on the accurate status of project and initiatives
  • Create and maintain documentation to identify, evaluate, scope, plan, monitor, and follow up on active projects and initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related area or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years relevant experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects of moderate to high risk
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with MS Excel, Project or related tools
  • Ability to supervise, direct and review the results of programs, projects or assignments
  • Ability to lead by understanding team dynamics
  • Ability to support, affect, and implement change
  • Ability to impact and influence a diverse population
  • Ability to lead and motivate multiple teams through effective organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision while performing a variety of complicated tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
