Our National Consulting Services team is seeking an experienced implementation Project Manager (PM) to partner with clients, service lines and other key stakeholder groups.  PM will be responsible for the implementation of technical software for internal and external engagements.  PM will oversee and support multiple internal and external client implementation projects with responsibility to review project requirements, develop project plans and ensure implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. PM may be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or provide assistance in scoping projects or developing proposals.

Additionally, the PM will require an understanding of general IT and solutions development knowledge to assist in the management of development and customization for existing and new applications, as well as providing end user support services to both internal and external clients at various levels. 

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to apply system design and development methodologies

  • Ability to interpret and convey technical information to all levels of technical aptitude, including senior management, which includes written and oral communications

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Proficient with project management tools

MANAGEMENT SKILLS

  • Proven leadership and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with both business and technical audiences

  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to interact with senior management

  • Strong interpersonal skills plus a pro-active approach to finding solutions and managing priorities

  • Ability to work with diverse teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)

  • Ability to support, affect, and implement change

  • Sets and meets realistic deadlines. Forecasts changes and communicates current and projected issues.

  • Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes

 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of professional experience with Business, IT or related field - prior professional services experience preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of project/program management experience

  • Experience managing multiple projects of moderate to high risk

 

PREFERED REQUIREMENTS

  • Understanding of:

    • JavaScript

    • HTML

    • CSS

  • Familiarity with:

    • Cross browser development

    • Ext JS

    • JSON

    • AJAX

    • Java

    • Eclipse derived development environment

    • SQL

    • IBM Domino and Notes platforms

  • Proven client and end user support skills

  • Ability to apply system design and development methodologies
