Conflicts Analyst

Individuals in the Conflicts Analyst role will research internal databases identifying situations where conflicts of interest or independence issues may exist, summarize research findings and deliver summary reports to the engagement team. Individuals in this role will also provide procedural support to engagement teams navigating the firm's conflict check requirements.

Essential Duties:

  • Performs searches of external and internal databases for pertinent information on existing and prospective clients and related parties
  • Analyze and interpret complex search results according to rules of professional conduct applicable professional standards and generates conflict reports
  • Performs self-evaluative quality control checks of conflict reports prior to delivery to the requesting engagement team
  • Assists department leadership in obtaining appropriate documentation to ensure all engagements and conflict resolutions are documented and recorded in the Firm's conflicts system
  • Educates and provides guidance to internal customers regarding conflicts and intake policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School diploma or equivalent - Required
  • Bachelor's degree - Preferred 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook - Required
  • Strong familiarity with financial and legal transactions, organization types, and corporate family structures - Preferred 


  • Strong research skills and experience with data entry - Required
  • Experience in a support or customer service role or function - Required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail - Required
  • Good organizational and time management skills - Required
  • Must be able to work independently - Required 
  • Must exercise good judgment skills to determine whether a researcher is providing accurate details - Preferred

  • Ability to mentor and coach other employees
