RSM US LLP’s National Office of Risk Management Enterprise Incident Response and Monitoring team is seeking to add an Enterprise Incident Response Manager to their team. This individual would be reporting to the National Director of Enterprise Incident Response and Monitoring. This individual’s role will focus on responding to incidents that occur across the organization to mitigate risk to the firm and its personnel. In addition, they will be involved in identifying ways to monitor activities to mitigate risk and developing protocols to respond effectively and efficiently to incidents.



  • Handle day to day management and execution of enterprise related investigation activities

    • Create investigation timelines, request lists and obtain documentation responsive to the investigation

    • Assist in the development, performance, and documentation of investigation procedures

    • Create interview outlines, lead or assist with investigation interviews and the documentation of interviews

    • Draft investigation reports, including identification of findings, process improvements and additional recommendations to mitigate risk

  • Work with our Cyber Incident Response Team to evaluate and respond to Data Loss Prevention (DLP) escalation matters

    • Review flagged activity, conduct discussions with appropriate leadership, conduct interviews, assess risk and recommend course of action

    • Assist with or execute approved course of action

  • Review our existing Data Loss Prevention matters and triggers for escalation and provide recommendations to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the prevention and detection efforts

  • Prepare reporting of NORM EIRM activities to executive and NORM leadership

  • Assist with the preparation of reports to management regarding root causes and “lessons learned” and related remediation efforts

  • Develop and document “playbooks” and more formalized protocols for common and/or frequently encountered enterprise incidents

  • Assist with process assessments and monitoring of controls, policy compliance, and remediation efforts as time permits


  • Bachelor’s degree required


  • Minimum 5-7 years of risk advisory, audit, or investigation experience

  • Experience managing multiple people and projects concurrently

  • Prior experience performing internal or forensic investigations a strong plus

Technical Skill Set

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interviewing and listening skills, required

  • Strong project and time management skills

  • Solid analytical mindset

  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools

  • Experience with data analysis tools like Excel, IDEA or ACL preferred

  • Detail oriented; but, able to see big picture

  • Ability to identify issues quickly and propose courses of action

  • Able and willing to travel
