The Training Coordinator manages all aspects of LMS administration which may include: publishing online courses, designing/pulling custom LMS reports, creating/modifying instructor-led sessions, updating attendance records, publishing learning objects, building/maintaining curricula, and managing the LMS feed.

In addition, a successful candidate will respond to any Training mailbox questions relating to the LMS and troubleshoot problems for users. Training Coordinator identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements within the system to maximize use streamline user experience. This role will take data exported from the LMS and create training data dashboards to highlight learning trends and progress to be communicated to a senior level.

The Training Coordinator role will be responsible for organizing instructor-led training courses both in person and virtually. This may include configuring training lab environments and setting up training rooms or virtual training environments, coordinating with the instructors and clients about the content and other internal administrative tasks such as the survey, time tracking, attendance and so on.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day administration and operation of the Learning Management System including:

  • Publishing online courses, designing/pulling custom LMS reports, creating/modifying instructor-led sessions, updating attendance records, publishing learning objects, building/maintaining curricula, and serving as a technical resource on the LMS and other supporting systems.

  • Administers user accounts, and custom metadata associated with training systems to ensure accurate data is maintained. Assists with the design and management of security roles.

  • Researches, configures, tests, and implements LMS application functionality to ensure the needs of the organization are met. Provides 2nd level technical support to internal customers for all training systems.

  • Creates, deploys, and analyzes electronic data from training systems and surveys. Develops statistical reports, charts, and graphs to accurately illustrate the meaning of the information. Provides support to management and other leaders during the report creation process to improve qualitative and quantitative results.

  • Responsible for the configuration, customization and implementation of updates and upgrades to the LMS, including test plan development, project plan implementation, and analysis of results to determine impact to training systems and business processes.

  • Coordinate and communicate training classroom requirements for instructor-led training programs. This includes setting up physical training rooms, configuring training lab environments, sending webinar invitations, and sending participant content and logistical
    information to participants. Additionally, the training coordinator will send surveys and gather responses for reporting purposes and create and submit CPE packets for eligible courses.

  • Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the RSM values and adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct.
    Regular reliable attendance is expected and required.

  • Performs other functions as assigned by management.

    Basic Requirements
       
    High School diploma   
    Expert in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint     
    Preferred 2 years of related experience as an LMS Administrator or in a similar position.   
    Prior experience with learning management systems and various learning delivery modalities, such as self-paced learning, instructor-led learning, asynchronous and synchronous e-learning, and blended learning is a plus.   
    Technical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.    
    Ability to learn and take ownership of new technologies quickly   
    Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and with customer and vendors     
    Strong customer service-oriented, sense of urgency and responsive attitude   
    Strong oral and written communication skills – ability to communicate complex technical concepts in easy to understand terms
    Editing, proofreading, or other quality assurance experience a plus  
    Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task    
    Demonstrated project management skills   
    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters without disclosing to unauthorized personnel
    Ability to handle multiple tasks and appropriately prioritize to support multiple instructors
