The Learning Materials Coordinator ensures training materials are professional in appearance and meet functional specifications and internal branding and style guidelines. The specialist proofreads files, then consults materials guidesheets, style guides, and job aids to create leader and participant guides and presentations.

 

Essential Duties:

  1. Proofread and edits slide deck and instructional materials for completeness, accuracy, and formatting.  Verifies that the materials follow style and branding guide and format is correct.

  2. Generates new leader and participant guides in Acrobat, Word, and PowerPoint based on materials provided by subject matter experts, instructional designers, and/or other member of LPD team

  3. Revises existing leader and participant guides given change requests provided by subject matter experts, instructional designers, and/or other member of LPD team               

  4. Other duties as assigned  

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 1+ years relevant experience

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure  

  • Ability to balance competing priorities  

  • Ability to proofread and edit  

  • Ability to prepare training materials including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes, and handouts

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills  

  • Advanced Adobe Acrobat skills

  • Ability to create a clean visual layout using text and graphics within PowerPoint slides

  • Use tools to work with remotely with key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and colleagues to finalize materials for publishing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
