The Practice Supervisor is primarily responsible for the direction and execution of activities related to our NetSuite practice, including working with internal marketing, sales and other service teams to drive the sales efforts and develop relationships with prospects and clients. They will manage a team of resources, as well as handle all resource planning and staffing for team, on a broad range of services engagements and maximizing billable utilization. Furthermore, the role will manage project portfolio and ensure that quality standards for delivery are exceeded. The Practice Supervisor will serve as an escalation point for services engagements. As well as being a key resource for internal practice development efforts, the Practice Supervisor will train and mentor new and experienced resources. 


  • Achieve and Exceed PS Revenue and Profitability Objectives
  • Ensure team billable utilization targets are met
  • Attain quarterly PS revenue targets
  • Support the sales cycle through prospect meetings and Solution reviews
  • Manage project portfolio to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget implementations using a mix of tools and resources
  • Participate in industry and company events that involve client-contact as required, e.g., annual user group conferences or internal technical conferences
  • Increase the Value of the NetSuite Application and RSM services for Customers
  • Expand the use of NetSuite and support for our existing customer base
  • Become trusted adviser to the Customer through implementation lifecycle and beyond
  • Team with Client Support to promote effective use of NetSuite, and support renewal efforts
  • Collaborate with other RSM teams during services engagements
  • Maintain knowledge of all RSM product offerings. Keep current on NetSuite product capabilities and limitations and how they may affect an implementation, including new releases, service packs, and feature packs
  • Maintain an RSM perspective and clear understanding of how the NetSuite practice fits within the larger company initiatives and lead the practice accordingly
  • Ensure High Customer Satisfaction and Referencability
  • Responsible for adhering to highest quality standards in project delivery
  • Manage executive-level customer relationships and provide team oversight through NetSuite implementation
  • Proactively manage risk throughout all phases of implementation including client expectations, engagement complexity, quoted estimate, consultant skill level and/or any additional areas that could impact deliverables
  • Serve as Steering Committee member leader on strategic projects
  • Responsible for project staffing and resource scheduling on a broad range of consulting engagements
  • Contribute to company’s focus on verticalization through participation in internal cross-departmental initiatives
  • Increase Engagement and Capabilities of PS Resources
  • Hire, train and manage team of new and experience resources to fulfill Practice objectives
  • Continuously coach and mentor all level of Consultants within the practice and take an active role to ensure adequate staffing levels and team member engagement.
  • Build team’s expertise and confidence in project delivery work
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as: vacation scheduling, expense reports, time 


  • Knowledge of NetSuite; prior experience as Senior or principal consultant.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in systems applications consulting, externally with a consulting firm or software provider.  Majority of the years as a NetSuite consultant.
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong background in mid-market and enterprise-level Project Management, including experience developing work-breakdown structures and project plans, most notably in Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable software solutions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication is required
  • Strong experience in Change Management and Business Process Mapping
  • Excellent client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop and manage an implementation plan
  • Previous services sales experience; comfortable interacting at the “C” level
  • Consulting and management experience in a SaaS environment is a plus
  • Previous consulting experience with the following applications: NetSuite, QuickBooks, Great Plains,, Workday, Dynamics, MAS 90, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards
  • Travel: Travel will be 20 – 30% for this role
